Experience

Hello dear readers! I went shopping yesterday with my dear friend/classmate/fellow blogger Amy and I bought 5 new nail polishes.

F.L.T.R: Nail art Special Effect! Topper from Essence in 02 Circus Confetti / Nail Art Twins Glitter Topper from Essence in 02 Julia / 440 I Wear My Sunglasses At Night from Catrice / Nail Art Cracking Top Coat from Essence in 01 Crack Me! Black and 02 Crack Me! White (both in Step 2)

So this is the only nail polish I've tried so far, it looks SUPER DUPER gorgeous on my nails and I keep staring at them all day long.

Ye I know this picture kinda failed, I was trying to let you see the back but the nail polish is too dark!

So of course I will blog about the nail polishes when I've tried them out, I just wanted to show you what I bought! And here's the 02 Circus Confetti on my nails (I applied 020 Cotton Candy At Eiffel Tower from the Ultimate Nudes collection from Catrice underneath.)

Hope you'll stay safe, until next time!

My Catrice Cosmetics Collection

If you live in Holland, you must have heard from the new make-up brand "Catrice". With it's big collection of not only eye shadows, but also blushes, eye liners, foundation and much more, It's found in a store called "Kruidvat" and it's shockingly affordable. I've been a fan of this brand for quite a while, and now I'm going to show you my small, yet amazing collection.

This isn't everything I own from Catrice, but couldn't fit more on the picture!

So let's talk about these products first! Starting with my nailpolish collection!

So what I like about Catrice is that they give their products awesome names like "Bye, Bye Birdy!" or "I scream Peach!". They also have a "Ultimate Nude Collection" and I own 4 from that collection (I think they have 6~7 in total).

Okay the 170 I Scream Peach! Does not belong to the Ultimate nude collection, it was just standing next to the 040.

Also, the left and right nail polish don't belong to the collection I'm talking about now, only the 050 Moulin Rouge Light.
My least favorite from this NUDE collection is the 050 and the 020. They just don't look good on my nails, but they might look good on yours so try it out! My favorite NUDE polish must be the 040. I'm wearing it atm and I can't imagine my nails without them.

So these are the other nail polishes I own beside the NUDE collection. Overall I do think it chips pretty early, but all my nail polishes chip quite easily on my nails. I don't know the prices of these nail polishes but I think they're around €3,-

So this is a rouge but I like to use this for eye shadows as well. I hardly use this as a rouge or maybe for contouring because my skin is quite pale.

So it gets really easy on any brush you may have. I usually don't take anything from the top row because it's to dark for my skin, but I think this works great for anything you're planning to do with it. Can't remember the price of this one either, around €3,50 perhaps?

So here is my wonderful Catrice Eye Shadow collection, like a pretty tower!

So from left to right these are called:

240 It's a girl (looks quite orange on the picture but it's pink in real life) - 090 Bring Me Frosted Cake - 110 Gilbert's Grapefruit - 190 Petrol Keeps Me Running - 070 Mr. Copper's Fields

See? 240 It's A Girl! is a soft pink eye shadow.

I bought this palette a few days ago, it's called 030 OMG I Want That! and YES, I want that. These colors are so amazing I can't wait to try them out!

So on the right you see another palette which looks like the left one. It's called 040 Never Let Me Go!  And under these two palette's I have 2 blushes. The left one is called 020 Peach Sorbet and on the right it's 040 Chocolate Cream. These blushes are from their Defining Duo Blush collection. I believe they have around 4 from these.

So that's all for my Catrice Collection! I hope you guys like it! I will never stop buying things from Catrice Cosmetics because I'm so satisfied with their product quality! This is my longest blogpost ever I guess, haha. I hope you enjoyed reading and if you live in Holland or Germany or even France you gotta look at this brand!

Enjoy your day x

Eternal Black Purple Obession

A few days ago I saw an advertisement on the TV, from L'Oreal Paris with 8 new eye shadows that were waterproof. It's from their Color Infaillible/Indefectible collection.

So I decided to buy two colors, each €9,99. I bought 014 Eternal Black and 005 Purple Obsession.

So as you can see at the first picture I posted, I was really excited about the purple eye shadow. All eye shadows claim to be waterproof, but I haven't tried that out yet. So here's a picture of the purple in real life.

The black eye shadow is absolutely gorgeous, but the purple doesn't look like the advertisement AT ALL. It's still a pretty color but I really thought it was going to be as bright as on TV. So let's look at the colors closer.

So this is the purple when I put it all over my eye. It looks really dark compared to the first posted picture here.

And this is the black. So I didn't use this products for a really long time but I am pretty satisfied, it stays on all day and it's easy to apply. I do really recommend these colors, as well as  the others. I'm planning on buying 2 more but I have no idea which one.

So these are all the pictures I took that didn't fail *camera didn't want to focus most of the time* but I still hope you liked this post and tell me if you're going to buy it or if you have bought it, which color? I'm trying to figure out which one I am going to buy!

FYI: Tomorrow is my first day of school again (ugh...) and I'm going on camp this Wednesday till Friday. I will be available on my phone and on twitter (@inyoungism). So please keep me entertained while I'm having really boring days this week!

Until next time!

BiO détox organic

It's a little while ago, sorry for that. But here is my new blogpost. This time about my new purchased BiO détox organic setting powder from Bourjois.

So actually all the information you need to know is right there on the back. It's a perfecting powder that lasts up to 8 hours. And while you're wearing it, it's making your skin healthier. A girls dream, right? This package was  €13,50 which is a normal price for foundation/powder.

As you can see I'm wearing teint 54 Beige. I was thinking of getting the lightest shade that they had. But now I've tried this, it's exactly my skin color.

So this is the package that was wrapped around it. I actually like this powder a lot more than foundation because it feels like you have nothing on. I do have to warn you, don't wear this when you're going swimming because it can create discoloration (so white stripes all over your face. So you do have to wipe your face every once in a while when you're swimming, not really relaxing, right?)

So again some information that's on the package.

See for yourself? It looks super natural on my skin! So I really recommend this for anybody who's tired from wearing foundation all the time. It's super light, super natural and I do really believe it's making my skin better. Thanks for reading everybody and see you next time!

Aloë Vera

If there is one word that makes me happy, it's definitely Aloë Vera. It is known to be a very good product for your hair and skin and when I see a new beauty product that contains Aloë Vera, It's something I have to try out. So I used an Aloë Vera Skin Soothing Moisturizing Mask from the brand Botanical Choice.

It is a facial mask imported from South-Korea, the country that is known for having a lot of good facial products and also very good lashes and fake nails. So when I noticed the Etos has a whole display full with these masks and other goodies, I just had to try everything.

There is no english on the package so this is my translation of the section "How to use"

"1. Make sure your face is very clean. 2. Open the package and apply the mask on your face and neck area, while avoiding the area around the eyes and lips. 3. Wash of with water after 15-20 minutes"

When something like this says "15-20 minutes" I always leave it on for the longest, so here: 20 minutes.

So it's very gel-like with a little but of bubbles in it, so it feels rather weird when applying.

So you don't see it THAT good but at least there is a thick layer on my face. So after 20 minutes I get the mask off with some water.

So for the results. My skin really feels smoother and cleaner. I have no negative opinions about this mask. I do think I like the masks with color a lot better because they also have a great smell. I don't took much pictures this time because my camera wasn't working the way I wanted so I promise: More photo's next time. Thanks for reading and have a great day :D

Party Time

We've had really bad internet here in Germany so I couldn't blog for most of the time, so here's a quick blog post about two make-up palettes I bought at the Claire's in Trier.

When I saw these colors I was so shocked, they looked so pretty and just for
€ 3,95 this just had to be in my make-up stash.

You can see I've already used them but now you see these really pretty shimmery colors. This palette contains 10 colors.
Yellow, Gold, Brown/Orange, Orange, Red,  Soft Pink/Orange, Soft Pink, Soft Orange, Golden Green and last but not least, Golden Brown.
This palette doesn't have a name and the colors don't have a name either, but I'm still pretty satisfied.

Top row colors (not in the right order, sorry for that. But it's not really hard to figure out the colors on the right are the colors on the left in the palette)

Bottom row (same info as the other picture)

This is  the palette I've been using for most of my vacation, my favorite color to use is the Soft Pink  and the Soft Orange color. Maybe a tutorial soon? ;-)

I also bought this other palette with a lot of glitter for € 4,95

It contains 5 colors: White, Silver, Orange, Pink, Purple. They are glitters with gel so you can easily apply them on your eye.
I actually thought they were eye-shadows with a lot of glitter but it wasn't. I did use this before and it is fun to use.

So here's the swatch!

And unfortunately this was the blog post, I got to pack my bags now because we're leaving Germany tomorrow (!!)
Hope you guys liked to blog post and I really recommend the first palette!
